Manheim's new Darwin digs
The new site is located at 31 Berrimah Rd (Berrimah), which Manheim says better caters to the needs of their buyers and sellers.
The original site, established to serve the Department of Defence disposal contract, has been outgrown by a rapid growth of local clients selling their assets via Manheim.
The grand opening auction for the new Berrimah Rd premises is being described by Manheim as one of the largest ever auctions held in Darwin, with over 200 lots to be offered for sale, with an estimated value of between three and four million dollars.
A huge range of mining and earthmoving equipment will be offered, along with trucks, buses, machinery and cars. A wide selection of general goods will also be offered, with items such as tools, furniture, generators, pumps, whitegoods and more.
In particular the auction will provide local and interstate buyers with the opportunity to secure mining and earthmoving equipment including:
- 8 x Caterpillar 773 Series and 2 x Hitachi AH400D Dump Trucks
- 1 x Moxy MT31 Water Truck
- 5 x Hitachi Excavators 120-T, 110-T, 45-T, 35-T, 4-T
- 2 x Caterpillar 16 G Graders
The auction will be 'Simulcast' online to allow these buyers to see and hear the physical auction via the web. Registered Manheim members can participate in the auction from the comfort of their home or office anywhere in the country and easily make a purchase online.
